Off the top of my head, I think I infiltrated only to 100 because the time was 15-20 days for that full 10 man squad. Flash bang+suppress everything else and it was a cakewalk compared to the start. Demo+holo+focus fire and the big issues are down. And it wasn't too hard, one of my sniper picked up shredder. And then I crawled the main team along the map and had a shinobi just blaze trails until I found the last pod. Tongue pulls are nasty in lw2 and I didn't bring a medic spec, which meant poisons are bad times. Biggest problems I had were a trooper exposing himself to crit my assault, and viper pods.
I was lucky enough to set up on high ground with a pair of snipers in a tower, and the enemies funneled in. I will say that this was strength 4, and I didn't have to deal with extra dark events.Īdvent HQ took forever for me. I also dropped back when reinforcements were coming, and overwatch dealt with them pretty well. I crawled along until the original pods were down. You're guaranteed high ground for your sniper and ranger, and the gunners alternated between suppressing and hail/demo. Laser rifle on the ranger, a laser cannon on the gunner with demo. I went with specialist captain, sniper, ranger, and 2 gunners. Network tower can get a little dicey if you don't have a strong, well kitted squad. Luckily spark ran and tanked like a beast while a ranger went step by step with him using him as cover so he doesn't get crit to oblivion and the pair managed to clear the roof snakes and hack the objective giving enough time for my almost dead team to hide and setup a high ground overwatch trap. I activated a pod of snakes with squadsight at a roof where I had no vision on them until the end of the map, only reinforcements started raining behind me giving them sight and making my troops flanked wherever they went. Technical is here to murder the first pod you run into, rangers to murder everyone else while they're stunned.įunny thing is I turned to this strat after spark saved my squad. Now why invest so much in a mad rush? Well it stuns all enemies on the map for 1 or 2(!) turns and prevents reinforcements, which would otherwise drop every single turn after they start and are the only real problem in this mission. Spark shines extremely well on this mission because he can more or less ignore enemies and go straight for the hack, provided you aid protocol him and murder or control the enemies with the rest of the squad. My personal recommendation would be a specialist, technical, spark, double ranger squad. Go for 200% infiltration and make sure you beeline the hack.
